The Independent Advocate

Martin Pals is the publisher of The Independent Advocate and often runs for public offices. He claims to be harrassed by a group led by a 6' 8" man who drives a salmon pink 1968 Chevrolet Corvette and is paid $30,000 a year for his efforts. An online version of The Independent Advocate is maintained by a third party and evidently not endorsed by Pals.

The following is a list of their actions:
April, 1989:
Put D-Con in a cup of my coffee at work;
April, 1989 to January, 1992:
Sprayed assorted chemicals at me while I was riding my bicycle. The harasser tried many times to knock me off my bicycle and possibly kill me.
January, 1992:
Sprayed me with a chemical which made it virtually impossible for me to turn my head, and/or eat or drink and was incredibly painful.
January, 1992 to December, 1996:
Continued to vandalize any cars I was able to buy and continued burgarlarizing [sic] my apartment, and calling me with various scams he was indulging in.
December 2, 1996:
Hit me with his City of Lincoln Police car.
December 2, 1996 to January 24, 1997:
Continues his harassment as usual.
January 24, 1997:
Hit me with a friend's car which was being driven by that friend who was also one of his many pedophile victims. He had informed me in his special coded message of three "hang-up" calls spaced 15 minutes apart between 6:30pm and 7:30pm. That is his standard mode of threatening a person.
January 24, 1997 to date:
Continued his usual harassment and harassed a female friend of mine. Female friends are in particular danger of being hurt by him, because he is so cowardly he has to try to hurt me by hurting others who associate with me, especially any lady who might appear to be a special friend.
